Über das namengebende Y.I.L.P.-Projekt in Gambia

Vorbemerkung: Wir dringen auf eine Fortführung des Y.I.L.P. auf gambischer Seite über das Jahr 2021 hinaus und suchen deshalb weitere internationale Unterstützung!

PROJEKT-NAME

Youth Integration and Livelihood Improvement Project (Projekt zur Verbesserung der Lebensverhältnisse durch die Integration der Jugend — YILP)

KERNPROGRAMM

Es geht dem Projekt darum, die Aufmerksamkeit qualifizierter und engagierter gambischer Jugendlicher von den bestimmenden Faktoren der Migration wegzuleiten.

ORT

Dieses Projekt wird in Gambia durch regionale und lokale Administratoren durchgeführt.

ZIELE

Erstens: Die Verbesserung der Kompetenzen bezüglich der Schaffung und Erhaltung der Lebensgrundlagen von ungefähr 1500 Jugendlichen in Gambia.

Zweitens: Die Verbesserung der Kompetenzen von ungefähr 800 Jugendlichen in Gambia bezüglich der Verantwortung gegenüber und des Schutzes ihrer eigenen Gesundheit sowie bezüglich des Schutzes ihrer Lebensgrundlagen, bis 2020/2021.

Drittens: Die Förderung der Beteiligung von ungefähr 800 Jugendlichen in Gambia bei Projekten auf Gemeindeebene und sozialen Aktionen, bis 2020/2021.

ZIELGRUPPE

Das Projekt richtet sich speziell an gefährdete gambische Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene zwischen 15 und 35 Jahren, die in ausgegrenzten, sozial benachteiligten und gefährdeten (Deprived Excluded Vulnerable (DEV)) Bedingungen leben und an ihre Familien. Insgesamt handelt es sich bei den DEV um Jugendliche, welche nur begrenzten Zugang zu Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, Ausbildung und Bildungsmöglichkeiten haben, um ungefähr 3100 Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene, davon um 1788 junge Männer und 1312 junge Frauen (Zahlenbasis dabei von 2018).

[ABOUT THE Y.I.L.P. PROJECT IN THE GAMBIA.

Preliminary remark: We urge a continuation of the Y.I.L.P. on the Gambian side beyond 2021 and are therefore looking for further international support!

  PROJECT NAME: Youth Integration and Livelihood Improvement Project (project to improve living conditions through the integration of young people - YILP).

   CORE PROGRAM: The aim of the project is to draw the attention of qualified and committed Gambian youth away from the determining factors of migration.

   PLACE: This project is carried out in The Gambia by regional and local administrators.

  AIMS. First: The improvement of skills in creating and maintaining the livelihoods of around 1500 young people in The Gambia. – Second: To improve the skills of around 800 young people in The Gambia with regard to responsibility and protection of their own health and the protection of their livelihoods by 2020/2021. – Third: To encourage the participation of around 800 young people in Gambia in community-level projects and social actions by 2020/2021.

  TARGET GROUP: The project is aimed specifically at vulnerable Gambian adolescents and young adults between 15 and 35 who live in excluded, socially disadvantaged and vulnerable (DEV) conditions and their families. Overall, the DEV are young people who have only limited access to employment opportunities, training and educational opportunities, around 3100 young people and young adults, of which 1788 young men and 1312 young women (based on 2018 figures).]
